Welcome to my portfolio. Here you’ll find a selection of my work. Most of my pictures are of landscapes that I find nearly too beautiful to comprehend.

Who am I?

I am Emilio "Millo" Peveri. I am a student at Brown University, but my identity goes much further than just labels and titles, it revolves around my Italian roots and me having lived in many different places.

 

I've been lucky enough to have traveled and seen many beautiful places around the world, and this is my way of documenting them. As a kid, my dream was to become a National Geographic wildlife photographer, now, I want to become a physician instead. However, photography is still a major hobby of mine.

This idea stemmed after I was doing a meditation practice that required you to remember specific times in your life. When you were in nature, when you were feeling joy, in awe, etc. In that moment, I realized that despite having experienced a lot, I couldn't remember much.

​

This scared me. Hence, I worked for a few weeks, and bought my very own film camera. All of these pictures have been taken on my trusty Canon Autoboy S PANORAMA 35 mm film camera. I also mainly use Kodak Golf for my film, and lightly edit pictures in Lightroom and Photoshop (still learning this!). Call me old-school, but I also just love natural film.

I plan on taking pictures of my future travels, of beautiful natural landscapes, architecture, cars, sports, and wildlife. In my journey of creative growth, I really just want to create something that expresses my emotions, but mostly allows me and others to experience certain moments all over again.​
